A popular wedding flower, anemone “The Bride” shines glamorously in pure white with a greenish frilled center. Growing up to 10” in height with blooms 3” wide, “The Bride” is a beautiful complement to garden beds, borders, and container displays! Tall and sturdy-stemmed, this variety looks lovely paired with shorter foliage-dense plants. Loves to soak up the sun, but appreciates some shade in hotter areas. They are also frost sensitive, so protect or relocate them during the cold winter months. For planting in the fall (Sept-Dec) in preparation for the arrival of “The Bride’s” splendid blooms during the spring (Mar-May). Plant the bulbs 2” deep and 4” apart. Note that anemones are poisonous to pets and humans if ingested in large quantities. An easy-to-grow perennial that will have you falling more in love with your garden every year!
