A sophisticated bloom that consists of deep red petals and a hint of light green among its center, they make a great showy flower and are also a plant of merit. When planting you should make sure to choose a habitat that provides full to partial sunlight exposure. A chalky, clay, or loamy soil is ideal for planting; the soil should contain pH properties that fall between acidic, neutral or alkaline. They are low maintenance flowers that require average watering needs. The bulbs should be planted between the months of March and April. Blooming will take place between the months of June and September.
