An heirloom variety dating back to 1830, it is one of the oldest lettuce varieties still being grown. This mini butter lettuce is ideal for container growing.
Start in trays, seeding 5mm deep. Transplant 20cm apart. Sow April through Aug.; stagger plantings for a continuous supply of lettuce. 7-15 days to germination.
