Origin: South Africa
One of the most popular houseplants! Spider plants are versatile, come in several different varieties, and super easy to care for. They also look great in a hanging basket! Originating from South Africa, Spider plants were introduced to the Victorian households in England during the 19th century. Spider plants are known for their air purifying qualities. They also often produce long stems with "pups" and white flowers on the ends. "Pups" are basically baby spider plants. Spider plants are tough and adaptable plants, perfect for those who may be lacking a "green" thumb. The 'Reverse Stripe' Spider Plant is similar to the common Spider Plant we all know and love, however it's colours are simply reversed!
