Maidenhair looks good on bookshelves, tables, and windowsills, as well as in planters. They are also suitable for using in summer outdoor mixed planters. Maiden hair ferns come in many varieties and grow all over the world. Pink Maidenhair will produce vibrant reddish pink leaves on new fronds, which eventually turn green over time. Their dainty, lace looking fronds are not only gorgeous, but also have the ability to wick rain. Maidenhair ferns can be especially finicky when in comes to their care. They do not like to dry out and will not tolerate neglect. Keep your ferns soil evenly moist at all times, but never soggy. Humidity is also essential to keeping your Maiden Hair fern alive. Misting regularly, grouping with other plants, or using a tray with wet pebbles beneath the plant will help keep humidity high. Another great option is keeping your fern in a terrarium. They prefer bright but indirect light. Be careful not to let your fern get too much light though, and never directly.
