GOLD MEDAL

Grandiflora

This gorgeous grandiflora is golden-yellow, with copper shading, aging to cream.
  • Repeat blooming.
  • A very vigorous grower.
  • Mild fragrance.
  • Suitable for Zones 6 - 10.

Here's a yellow that stands in defiance against the climatic throes of Mother Nature. The very vigorous plant gives a nearly constant supply of shapely dark gold buds brushed with orange and deep golden yellow flowers rich with fruity fragrance. The long stems are low-thorned and clothed with large very resistant deep green foliage. Deeper color in moderate climates.

GROWTH HABIT

Larger than most Grandifloras, it is the most dependable of anything in the yellow shades. Deep gold brushed orange when it first opens, it lightens as the blossom matures. The 4" blooms are large, clustered, high-centered, cupped and reflexed. Tall, bushy, nearly thorn less, upright, and well-branched. Large, semi-glossy, dark green, dense foliage. A very vigorous grower.
