Bring hummingbirds to you! 

Place the handheld feeder outside to get hummers used to the new feeder (placing near existing feeders helps). 

Once hummers are used to the handheld feeder, introduce yourself to their feeding area. Start by watching from a closer distance to get them comfortable with you in the area. 

Hold the feeder in your hand near the original feeder location. Be very still and you may be lucky enough to experience these amazing birds up close! 

Hummers are more likely to visit a clean, healthy feeder. A solution of vinegar and water should be used to clean. Do not use extremely hot water or load in dishwater.
