Healthy soil means healthy plants. To keep your plants healthy, an annual soil test should be part of your total garden maintenance plan. Plants require nutrients and the key nutrients are Nitrogen, Phosphorous, and Potash. A 5 minute PH and nutrient test will determine the level of PH and nutrients in your soil and allows you to amend the soil to increase nutrients and improve plant growth.

Altering the PH does take time, so do not expect too rapid a change. Rather work steadily towards giving your plant the ideal conditions. After adding lime or Sulphur to your soil, retest PH levels in 30 days.
