Neckargold Wax beans are an easy-to-grow pole bean. Plants produce stringless 25 cm (10”) pods throughout the season. A vigorous grower and heavy producer of tasty bright yellow pods that are good for freezing. These beans boast resistance to bean mosaic virus.

Preparation Ideas: Rinse beans under water. Dry and cut tips off both ends. Toss beans with salt, pepper and olive oil. Place beans in a single layer (do not overlap), on foil lined baking sheet. Bake at 350 F preheated oven for approximately 25 minutes or until cooked to desired tenderness.

Instructions: Sow seeds when the soil is warm and all danger of frost is past. Plant 2 seeds every 4 inches. Soaking seeds overnight before planting will speed germination. Thin to 1 plant every 4 inches when the plants have 4 leaves. Pick early and often to encourage production. Sow every 2 weeks until 8 weeks before fall frost. Apply Garden Inoculant to increase yields.
How To Grow: Bean Neckargold Wax (Pole)
Suggestions: Avoid working around beans when wet; this may spread diseases. When weeding, hoe gently because beans are shallow-rooted. Mulch plants only after thinning.
