Origin: Southern Mexico and Guatemala
A slow growing plant. The Parlour Palm's, or Neanthe Bella Palm, small size makes them perfect for tables, bookshelves and other household surfaces. They also look great in mixed baskets and terrariums. The Parlour Palm is much loved for its dainty appearance and became popular in Victorian Times, as it was commonly found in a homes Parlour.
They are native to the rain forests in Southern Mexico and Guatemala. This little palm is a slow grower, and will likely stay petite for a while before reaching its maximum height of about 2 ft. The Parlour Palm is easy to care for and is pretty resilient. They will tolerate low light, but do best when exposed to bright, indirect light. Some direct sunlight is okay, but too much may lead to the tips of your palms leaves drying out.

|Lighting||Will tolerate low light, but will thrive better with some bright, indirect light.|
|Water||Water thoroughly, discarding any excess water. Allow soil to dry out slightly before watering.|
|Humidity||Does well in normal levels of humidity, but likes higher humidity as well. Dry air will turn the leaf tips brown.|
