Delphinium x cultorum
One of the most majestic perennials and also one of the easiest to grow. Strong and tall with large, colorful blossoms in shades of blue, purple, white and rose. Adds dramatic color to floral arrangements. Ht. 4-6 ft. Hardy zones 3-7.

Gardener's Notes: Start seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost or sow directly outdoors in spring after last frost, when temperatures are above 50F (10C). Grow in rich, well-drained soil. Stems are brittle; stake plants when small to protect from wind. In frost-free areas, sow seed outdoors in fall for spring bloom. When finished blooming, cut spikes back for rebloom. Hardy zones 3-8.
