Gardener's Notes: Sow directly outdoors in spring when night temperatures are above 50F (10C). Or, start seeds indoors 8 weeks before last frost date. Grow in well-drained soil, spacing seeds 2-3 inches apart. Press seed into soil but don't cover. Thin seedlings to final spacing when large enough to handle. Keep plants well watered. In hot summer areas, plant in light shade. Pretty for borders and grows well in containers.
