Gardener's Notes: Start indoors 4 weeks before the last spring frost or sow directly outdoors after the last frost. Grow in fertile, well-drained soil. Sow 4-5 seeds in a 12 inch circle. Do not thin. Keep well-watered when flowers and fruit appear. Harvest cucumbers by cutting the stem with shears or knife when they reach 8-10 inches long. Keep ripe fruit picked to encourage production throughout the season.
