Cucumber Lemon - Cornucopia Seeds

A true heirloom whose vigorous vines bear abundant crunchy cukes the size and shape of lemons. Flavor is mild and sweet. Tasty and delicious eating either fresh, in salads, or for making pickles.

Gardener's Notes: Plant directly into rich soil in full sun when night temperatures reach 55 degrees Fahrenheit (13 degrees Celsius). Sow in groups of 5-6 seeds, 4 inches apart in hills 2 feet apart. Carefully thin seedlings to 3 plants per hill. Water cukes evenly and consistently for best production. Secure vines on vertical supports for easy picking. Harvest fruits when pale in color for sweet flavor and crispiness; fully yellow fruits are overripe and seedy.
