Dill Long Island Mammoth

Gardner's Notes: Direct sow outdoors in spring into fertile, well-drained soil. Sow seeds 1 inch apart and cover lightly. Keep soil moist during germination and growth. Thin seedlings to 12 inches apart when large enough to handle. Sow every 10-14 days through later spring for a continuous supply. Begin harvesting leaves when plants are 12 inches tall. Flowers can be picked up or left to go to seed. Harvest seed when color changes from yellow to tan.
