Gardener's Notes: Sow seeds outdoors in a sunny spot in fine-textured soil when spring weather has warmed to 50F (10C). Or, in cold climates, start seeds indoors six weeks before last frost date. Sow seeds thinly and cover lightly. Water gently, keeping evenly moist until the tiny seedlings emerge. Thin or transplant established seedlings to 8-10 inches apart. Cut leafy sprigs. Perennial where ground doesn't freeze hard.
