Chinese Astilbe – Vision in White
A luminous elegant astilbe featuring dense plumes of pure white blooms rising above a compact mound of rich, glossy foliage from mid to late summer. Standing at 45–60 cm (18–24″) tall with a spread near 30–45 cm (12–18″), it's perfect for shady borders, woodland gardens, or mixed containers. Thriving in moist, humus-rich soil under partial to full shade (or even sun in cooler climates), it tolerates dry periods better than traditional astilbes and is deer- and rabbit-resistant. Its long-lasting flower spikes are excellent for fresh or dried arrangements and attract pollinators like bees and butterflies.
