These flowers produce unique green and black blooms and are known to attract birds. They prefer being planted in habitats that provide exposure to full or partial Shade and make great showy flowers. A chalky, loamy, or sandy soil should be used for planting; the soil should contain pH properties that fall between acidic, alkaline, or neutral. They have an average watering need and are known to tolerate wet soil. Bulbs should be planted between the early to late spring. Blooms should form between mid spring and early summer.
