Eremurus Ruiter Hybrids - Foxtail Lily
Tall, architectural showstoppers, the Eremurus Ruiter Hybrids—bred from E. isabellinus × E. ruiter—produce striking foxtail-like flower spikes in dreamy pastel and jewel tones of orange, pink, yellow, white, and cream. The densely packed star-shaped florets bloom progressively from bottom to top in late spring to early summer, atop slender gray-green basal foliage. Towering 1–1.5 m (3–5 ft) tall and spreading 0.5–1 m (20–40″), they create dramatic vertical accents and are ideal fresh or dried in floral arrangements. Low-maintenance and resilient, they thrive in full sun and well-drained soil, are deer- and rabbit-resistant, drought-tolerant once established, and loved by pollinators. Perfect to naturalize or plant in sheltered borders, they also self-seed to enhance later bloom seasons.
