AMELANCHIER ALNIFOLIA 'NORTHLINE'
Berries look like blueberries, though they are cousins with apples. Flowering in spring on 2-4-year-old stems and produces berries in late July. Plant in full sun location, 120cm (4ft) apart. Roots need at least 24 inches of depth. Before bud break prune at least 24 inches of dept. Before bud break prune dead or damaged stems for the first 3 years, then prune out the oldest branches. Drip irrigation is preferred to reduce follar disease.
