Begoniaceae

Apricot orange in color, these begonias are a sight to behold when grown in pots with yellow doubles, like a large basket full of lemons and oranges side by side. They will remind you of your grandma’s garden. The upright growing stems produce a wonderful display of apricot-colored blooms that resemble camellia flowers. They are lush and full, and will add intrigue and flare to any container, hanging basket, or garden landscape. To get a jump start on the growing season, we recommend starting your tubers indoors for about 4 to 6 weeks. Please note that Begonias are not winter hardy and cannot tolerate exposure to frost. In the fall, before the first sign of frost, dig up your tubers and place them in a loose bag of dry peat or vermiculite. Store them in a cool, dry place until replanting in the spring.

  • These garden begonias will bloom from June until frost and love part shade areas.
  • Not winter hardy - Dig in the fall and store in a frost-free area.
  • Comes in 5 Colours.
  • Summer Flowering.

  • Great for Containers & Mixed Borders

*Please note: There is a mistake on the package for this begonia claiming it is deer resistant. Deer will disagree. They think it's a tasty snack.
