Helleborus - Double Ellen Purple
Double Ellen Purple is a striking Lenten rose with glossy evergreen foliage and rich, double deep-purple maroon blooms that appear in late winter through early spring. Each flower, around 2–3″ wide, is densely petaled and lightly speckled, centered with yellow stamens that add visual contrast and attract early-season pollinators. This semi-evergreen, clump-forming perennial grows to about 25 in tall and wide, thriving in part to full shade in moist, humus-rich, well-drained soil. Easy-care, deer- and rabbit-resistant, and suitable for shaded borders, woodland gardens, or container plantings, it also makes excellent long-lasting cut flowers
