Hemerocallis - Lavender Blue Baby
A graceful, fragrant diploid daylily, ‘Lavender Blue Baby’ features 5–5½″ deeply recurved lavender-purple petals encircling a pronounced lavender-blue eye and fresh green throat. Blooming in early midsummer (often mid-July), this award-winning Stout Silver Medal cultivar reblooms through late summer and early fall, with each flower lasting about 16 hours. It forms tidy clumps of deciduous, grasslike foliage around 24–28″ tall and 18–24″ wide . Exceptionally tough, it thrives in zones 3–9 across full sun to part shade, tolerates heat, drought, poor soils, urban conditions, and resists rabbits, while attracting butterflies and hummingbirds.
