Lilium Oriental x Trumpet - Elusive
Oriental Lily x Trumpet Lily 'Elusive' is a spectacular hybrid variety, combining the grace of oriental lilies with the vigor of trumpet lilies . Its delicate pale pink flowers with golden yellow centers offer a refined contrast and diffuse an exquisite fragrance that perfumes the garden from early summer until autumn. It is quite normal for newly planted bulbs to grow over 3ft tall with 5-6 flowers in the first season. When established bulbs can easily produce stems up to 9-10ft tall topped with 20 or more flowers. As they are vulnerable to being blown over by the wind, they should be staked for support. Perfect for borders, beds and pots, this lily is also very popular in bouquets thanks to its large, fragrant flowers and its long vase life.
