Paeonia Itoh - Canary Brilliants
‘Canary Brilliants’ is a stellar example of an Itoh (intersectional) peony, introduced in 1999 and widely celebrated for its luminous blooms. Each flower opens as a light beige bud, evolving into a semi-double to fully double blossom infused with creamy yellow tones and soft apricot hues at the center—some even mature into a vibrant canary yellow appearance. This cultivar stands up well in the garden on robust, upright stems that rarely require support, and it brings long-lasting color and Florist-worthy flowers to the landscape. A winner of the Award of Landscape Merit in 2010, it combines beauty, durability, and charm in one striking perennial.
