Sweet Basil’s pungent leaves can be picked anytime for fresh use, and are delicious in tomato, cheese, egg, and fish dishes. To encourage branching, pinch tops when 15 cm (6") tall. This annual herb is sensitive to frost, but can be grown year round indoors.
