Commonly known as Mexican Sunflower, it produces vivid orange flowers over a long period, much loved by bees and butterflies. Perfect for the back of the annual border.
Plant Class: Half Hardy Annual (HHA).

GROWING INSTRUCTIONS: Sow: indoors March to April, thinly in pots or trays of seed compost lightly cover with compost. Keep moist and warm, approx. 20-25oC (68-75oF). When large enough transplant 5cm (2in) apart in further trays. Grow on at approx. 15oC (60oF). Gradually harden off before planting out to final position in late May, spacing 45cm (18in) apart.
Flowers: July to October. Remove dead heads to prolong flowering.
