Monkshood – Arendsii ‘Cloudy’ Bare Root

Aconitum carmichaelii 'Cloudy' is an elegant and eye-catching perennial, showcasing softly hued blue-and-white hooded blooms on tall, sturdy stems from late summer into early autumn. Its richly lobed, glossy, dark-green foliage provides a lush backdrop to the delicate floral spikes. Thriving in partial shade to full shade with consistently moist, well-drained soil, it's adaptable to a wide range of soil types—including clay, loam, acidic, alkaline, and neutral. A standout in the garden, 'Cloudy' attracts bees and butterflies while offering both deer and rabbit resistance.

Packaging

Spring bulb orders will be shipped with wood shavings in the package to help insulate and protect the bulbs from the cold weather and movement during shipping. Wood shavings can be repurposed in the garden or composted upon receiving your order!
