This is a very special variety, with classic, rich red flowers carried on vigorous, yet compact plants, excellent for sunny 'Mediterranean' pots and tubs. This half hardy perennial should be treated as an annual and reaches the height of 40cm.

Approx. 6 seeds

Start indoors 10-12 weeks before final spring frost. Sow in a seed starting mix or compost, 3mm (1/8") deep, 2.5-5cm (1-2") apart. Water gently. Cover and maintain temperature @ 21-25C (70-78F) until germination (5-14 days). Transplant to larger pots when seedlings are 2.5-5cm (1-2") high. Harden off before setting out one week after final spring frost. Water regularly.

Remove faded blooms regularly.
