Miscanthus sinensis – Malepartus

A truly majestic selection, Malepartus forms a bold upright clump of graceful arching green blades accented by subtle white mid‑ribs. In late summer, it opens showy, pink‑tinged flower plumes that mature to fiery copper-red and then transform to silvery-white for a long-lasting winter display. With autumn comes fiery foliage tones in bronze, red and orange, enhancing seasonal impact. Reaching up to 7 ft tall when in bloom, it serves beautifully as a specimen, screen or dramatic accent, all while being deer‑ and rabbit‑resistant and tolerant of drought, salt, and poor soils once established.
