Allium - Cliffs of Dover

Allium ‘Cliffs of Dover’ is a classic bulbous perennial offering elegant star-shaped white flower heads atop sturdy stems about 50 cm (20″) tall in late summer. These delicate blooms light up beds and borders while attracting bees, butterflies, and pollinators; the seed heads are also loved by finches for winter interest. The plant grows from mid-green edible, chive-like foliage that emerges in spring and performs best in full sun and well-drained soil . Deer and rabbits typically leave it alone, and it’s remarkably low-maintenance and hardy down to –10 °C
