  • Late Spring Flowering
  • 1 Pack
  • Great cut flowers
  • Zone 4

“Mount Everest” has reached peak beauty among allium varieties! This stunning white allium has a 6-inch diameter spherical head formed by dozens of tiny white sparkling florets. The apex of this allium reaches a mountainous 36 inches above the ground. Like other alliums, “Mount Everest” is a perennial that naturalizes easily, so you can enjoy its arrival year after year. Prefers lots of suns and well-draining soil. A deer-resistant variety whose summit will attract butterflies to your garden from near and far. Plant in the fall (Sept-Dec) at a depth of 6 inches, leaving 8 inches between individual bulbs. Its icy-white blooms will arrive in late spring (May - June). Grows best in zone 4, but can also be planted in zones 5-8. Note that alliums are toxic if ingested by pets. Allium “Mount Everest” will quickly climb to the top of your favourite garden flowers!
