Iris pumila - Yellow

A sunny and cheerful dwarf bearded iris offering vivid bright yellow blooms with matching yellow or pale beards, held just above clumps of sword-like gray-green foliage. These early to mid-spring blossoms hover a compact 30 cm (12 in) above the ground, adding pops of color to rock gardens, borders, or containers. Exceptionally hardy to USDA Zone 2, and generally hardy through Zone 9, this mat-forming iris thrives in full sun or light shade with well-drained soil. It’s naturally deer- and rabbit-resistant, drought-tolerant, and low-maintenance—ideal for both novice and experienced gardeners
