JAPANESE TOAD LILY

The Tricyrtis Hirta, commonly known as the Toad Lily or Hairy Toad Lily. This distinctive perennial plant originates from Asia and is typically found on shaded rocky cliffs and stream banks in central and southern Japan.

This enchanting woodland perennial features arching stems crowned with orchid‑like, white to pale lilac blooms speckled with purple, bringing unexpected elegance to shady corners of your garden. Blooming from late summer into early fall, it thrives in moist, humus‑rich soils and creates a lovely accent in a fern or hosta‑filled border. Its exotic‑looking flowers invite close‑up admiration, making it ideal for paths, woodland edges or under trees. Deer tend to avoid it, and once established it returns reliably—perfect for adding
