Petunia violacea

Very rare, one of the original varieties, profuse grower of vivid fuchsia coloured star shaped blossoms. A long blooming period for the whole summer. Thrives in sunny locations, in all soil types and is drought tolerant. Plants are medium spreading and grow on average to 1 foot tall. This is not the variety known as Ruella which shares the same common name. Tiny seed, sow in a warm location in early spring, just barely covering the seed. Transplant to the garden by late spring.
