Hemerocallis - Bela Lugosi

A bold, award-winning daylily, 'Bela Lugosi' charms with 6" trumpet-shaped blooms in a deep, saturated purple—nearly black—with a bright lime-green throat. It reaches about 33″ (85 cm) tall on well-branched scapes, forming a lush semi-evergreen clump that blooms in mid‑summer and repeats later in the season. Highly sunfast, this cultivar retains its intense color even under hot sun and thrives in zones 2–9, tolerating diverse soil types and partial shade. Celebrated for its dramatic presence, it's perfect for mass plantings, borders, or as a standout focal point, attracting pollinators while offering low-maintenance beauty.
