Hosta – Canadian Blue

A classic medium-sized blue hosta, Hosta ‘Canadian Blue’ develops dense mounds of thick, rippled, heart-shaped leaves in a rich silvery-blue hue that intensifies in shaded settings. By mid to late summer, graceful 20–30″ scapes rise above the foliage bearing clusters of pale lavender to white bell flowers that attract hummingbirds and pollinators. Exceptionally hardy and vigorous (Zones 2–9), it tolerates part to full shade, thrives in moist, well-drained soil, and shows remarkable slug resistance thanks to its sturdy leaves. Ideal for borders, containers, or under trees, this reliable perennial brings standout coloration and effortless garden presence.
