Hosta - Sting

Bring bold contrast and texture to shaded garden spaces with Hosta ‘Sting’, a striking sport of Hosta 'Anne' introduced by G. Heemskerk in 2011. It features thick, substantial, dark green leaves accented by a dramatic flamed white center—creating a vivid flame-like pattern reminiscent of a “sting.” The variegation intensifies as the season progresses, especially with some light exposure. In summer, graceful pale lavender flowers rise on slender scapes above the foliage, adding delicate seasonal interest. Notably resistant to slugs, the dense, textured foliage enhances its garden performance.
