Hosta – Sunny Halcyon

A golden sport of the famed blue-leafed ‘Halcyon’, Hosta ‘Sunny Halcyon’ forms a neat mound of thick, heart‑shaped leaves that emerge chartreuse in shade and glow yellow in brighter light. The leaves are exceptionally substantial—more slug-resistant than average—and provide consistent colour all season. In mid-summer, scapes rise with pale lavender, bell-shaped blooms that attract pollinators. Hardy and low-maintenance, it thrives in moist, organically rich, well-drained soil under part to full shade, and brightens dark corners or containers with cheerful presence in shaded gardens.
