Hosta – T Rex

A truly gargantuan hosta, Hosta 'T Rex' develops an enormous mound of gently wavy, floppy heart-shaped leaves that reach up to 18 in (45 cm) long by 14 in (36 cm) wide. The rich green foliage with deep veins creates dramatic texture and scale in shady garden areas. By early summer, tall scapes rise above the foliage bearing near-white to pale lavender bell-shaped flowers that attract pollinators. Although a slow grower that may take several seasons to reach full size, its majestic presence makes it a highly sought-after specimen in woodland gardens or large shaded borders.
