Allium schoenoprasum
These onion-flavoured herbs grow well in the garden or small pots. The bright purple blossoms and thin green stems are both beautiful and delicious. Cut up to 1/3 of the plant at a time 1″ above soil level and allow the plant to regrow. These aliums are fantastic with potatoes, in soups, or salads.
