Amsonia - Butterscotch

Amsonia hubrichtii ‘Butterscotch’ is a refined compact perennial with airy, thread-like foliage topped in late spring by clusters of powdery sky‑blue, star-shaped flowers. Through summer, its slender green leaves form a fine-textured mound, while autumn transforms the foliage into rich butterscotch‑gold of amber and orange hues. Upright red-tinged stems and superb disease resistance make it a low-maintenance standout. Beloved by pollinators and deer-resistant, this cultivar adds elegant structure and seasonal drama to borders, rain gardens, and cottage plantings.
