Actaea simplex - Pink Spike

Graceful clumps of deep burgundy-purple, finely divided foliage set the stage for elegant spikes of fragrant, two-tone flowers that open from raspberry pink buds to pale creamy white. Blooming from summer into early fall, ‘Pink Spike’ adds both height (1.2–1.8 m / 4–6 ft) and delicate color to shade or part-sun borders. Preferring moist, humus-rich, well‑drained soil, this cultivar thrives in woodland-style gardens and encourages pollinators while being naturally deer- and rabbit-resistant. All parts are toxic if ingested—wear gloves when handling.
