Crocosmia – Star of the East

‘Star of the East’ is a classic Montbretia (Crocosmia × crocosmiiflora) cultivar known for its large, soft orange to apricot flowers with creamy throats and burgundy accents. The flowers open gradually from the bottom of the wand upward, giving a long display over many weeks in mid to late summer. It forms erect clumps of pleated, sword-like foliage that remain upright well into autumn, adding architectural texture to the garden. This variety is prized for combining bold floral flair with moderate, well-behaved growth.

  • Bare Root
  • Soft orange blooms with pale centers
  • Long-lasting flowering wand
  • Upright, clumping habit
