Geranium phaeum – Joseph Green

Joseph Green is a striking cultivar of Geranium phaeum, known for its rare double, dusky-purple blooms shot through with chartreuse-green accents, rising above deeply lobed, maple‑style foliage. The flowers appear in generous sprays on upright stems and maintain visual interest well into the growing season. This variety forms an upright, clumping habit that works beautifully in shaded or woodland borders and tolerates part sun in cooler climates. It offers an elegant, low‑maintenance presence, especially suited for gardeners who want colour in areas of dappled light.
