Alcea rosea - Peaches ’n’ Dreams

Alcea rosea ‘Peaches ’n’ Dreams’ (also known as ‘Peaches ’n’ Creams’) is a captivating biennial or short-lived perennial that produces towering spikes—5–6 ft (150–180 cm) tall—of lush, double saucer-shaped blooms in soft peach-pink tones with delicate raspberry veining. Blooming from mid-summer into autumn, these frilly, powder-puff flowers are excellent for cut arrangements and attract hummingbirds, bees, and butterflies. Ideal for sunny cottage-style gardens and fences, it thrives in rich, well-drained soil; once established, it remains relatively drought-tolerant and deer-resistant, reliably self-seeding each year.
