Iris Germanica – Cantina

A striking reblooming bearded iris, ‘Cantina’ displays rich plum standards over striking ultraviolet-tinged violet falls edged with red highlights. Its blossoms are softly ruffled and lightly fragrant, adding both visual texture and scent to the garden. This cultivar flowers in mid-spring and returns with a second flush in late summer to early fall, giving extended interest. With sturdy stems reaching about 35 in (89 cm), it’s excellent in mixed borders, as a cut flower, or in focal plantings.
