Monarda – Snow White
Monarda ‘Snow White’—also known by its cultivar name Schneewittchen—is a classic bee balm cherished for its pure, pristine white, “mop‑head” flower clusters that emerge in early to mid-summer (Garden Design, mid–late summer). As a vigorous perennial reaching heights of approximately 2–3 ft (24–36 in), it blooms atop sturdy, aromatic foliage and creates an elegant portrait in any sunny garden setting. This cultivar attracts pollinators like bees and hummingbirds and offers lovely cut-flowers for vases. Its fragrant leaves are also great for brewing herbal teas. However, 'Snow White' has only moderate resistance to powdery mildew, so rich, moist growing conditions and good air circulation are important for keeping it healthy
