Monkshood/Wolfsbane - Aconitum henryi 'Spark's Variety'

Tall, airy spikes of deep violet‑blue helmet‑shaped blooms rise on slender, branching stems in mid to late summer, adding vertical drama to borders or woodland edges. Glossy, deeply divided dark green foliage remains attractive beyond bloom time, creating a lush backdrop. Preferring moist, humus-rich soil in full sun to part shade, Spark's Variety is deer- and rabbit-resistant and beloved by bees for its nectar. An AGM award‑winner and potent cut flower, it demands cautious handling—every part is highly toxic.
