Pycnanthemum muticum

A prolific pollinator-attracting gem, Clustered Mountain Mint (Pycnanthemum muticum) is a fragrant, clump-forming perennial across Eastern North America. With square, mint-scented stems and dense foliage, it erupts in summer with clusters of tiny pink‑white flowers surrounded by silvery bracts—drawing bees, butterflies, and more. Vigorous and resilient, this plant thrives in a variety of conditions, making it an excellent choice for naturalistic borders, meadows, and wildlife gardens. Perennial of the year awards 2025.
